Sypnosis:

College freshman Eun Joo is befriended by a kindly upperclassman, Hye-jin (Kim Gyu-ri, from Whispering Corridors), and joins her coterie of friends, the video freak Se-hun (Jeong Jun), the snooty law school student Jeong-wook (Yu Jun-sang, Tell Me Something), the prima donna Seon-ae (Choi Jeong-yun) and the star baseball player Hyeon-jun (Yu Ji-tae, Attack the Gas Station, One Fine Spring Day, stuck in a thankless dumb-jock role). When Hyeon-jun dumps Seon-ae in favor of the mysteriously alluring Eun-joo, the incensed Seon-ae digs up her competitor's hidden past. It seems that Eun-joo used to be a "jinxed" presence in the village she grew up under the name Gyung-a, ostracized for her alleged supernatural powers. Hye-jin, believing that Eun-joo/Gyung-a was responsible for her father's death, spurns the latter, only to observe her apparent suicide during a rainy night. But is she truly dead?

Trailer

Sypnosis:

Career journalist, Ji-Won, is getting all sorts of menacing phone calls after her latest article busted a kiddie-hooker ring wide open. She switches to a new cell phone number and instead of menacing calls from gangland pimps, she starts getting spooky calls from beyond the grave. Things get worse when she visits her best friend, Ho-Jun, and lets Ho-Jun's daughter answer her cell phone.

Before you can say "Linda Blair" this perfect little tyke is possessed by an evil spirit. Ji-Won, Ho-Jun, Ho-Jun's husband and a gang of other well-dressed yuppies quickly discover that their stylish clothes and chic haircuts are rotten from the inside out and no match for the spirit of a moldering schoolgirl having the ultimate bad hair day. Not just another clone of Japan's THE RING, this character-driven movie is a very Korean nightmare where all those pretty things you buy are just a cheap bandaid on a festering wound.

The real bonus in this movie is the cute little possessed girl, Young-Ju, played by the most insane freak in Korea, Eun Seo-Woo, who deserves a special Academy Award for her performance. Whether she¹s French kissing daddy, hissing like a cat, or trying to break her own neck, this tyke is out of control in a way even Maury Povich can't handle.

In true gothic fashion, the family unit turns out to be just another nest of neurotic possessiveness, hidden homicide, and lustmord. As the minutes tick off until "The End" all the stylish ephemera of modern Korean filmmaking does a time lapse dissolve into an Edgar Allan Poe haze with unlimited minutes and no roaming charges.

OST

Trailer

Sypnosis:

Kyu-sik and his good buddy Seon-dal are studying to be priests. Well, actually Kyu-sik is studying and Seon-dal is trying to find reasons not to be a priest. After a night on the town Seon-dal lands them both in trouble, when he bumps into Kyu-sik during mass. He stumbles and breaks a cherished reliquary blessed by the Pope himself.

As a sort of punishment, Kyu-sik and Seon-dal are sent to a small parish in the country, led by the old priest Nam, to work hard, get their heads straight, and prepare for their upcoming ordination. Unbeknownst to Nam, his grand daughter Bong-hee has just returned from USA. Next morning when Kyu-sik is doing his chores, he stumbles across Bong-hee in the church. She’s collapsed from drinking, and when he attempts to help her, she falls on top of him and plants a big kiss on his mouth! In that exact moment, the resident nun walks in on them, and once again Kyu-sik’s gotten himself into trouble. Though Kyu-sik gets off with a warning, Bong-hee has sparked his interest. She’s obviously a lost soul, and must be saved (At this point the most dim-witted viewer will be aware of Kyu-sik’s attraction to Bong-hee, but it’ll take another hour for him to reach that conclusion, so we’ll just sweep that under the rug for now.)

Slowly a dysfunctional love/hate relationship develops between them. And though he gets increasingly frustrated with her disrespect for God - a fact she smirkingly enjoys - he just can’t seem to get her out of his mind. Things take a turn for the worse, when the old priest suggest Kyu-sik try to persuade Bong-hee to get baptised, as part of his education.

The poor priest really has his work cut out for him, but soon Bong-hee begins to look at Kyu-sik in a different light. And he himself begins to question his upcoming vows of celibacy.
