Sypnosis:

In search of her grandmother who disappeared at the movies one day, young girl So Dan (Kim Kkot Bi) ends up at a run-down, dimly lit theater where she meets various wandering spirits who call the theater home. Among her newfound friends are a gothic-looking gisaeng (Han Ae Ri), a Japanese WWII lieutenant (Jo Hee Bong), a giddy Afroed clown (Park Yeong Soo), and portly Elisa (Park Joon Myeon, I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK), who claims she's the last Joseon Dynasty princess. They and her missing grandmother all seem to be connected to a mysterious banned film from years ago.

Sypnosis:

Sang-woo, the leader of college rock band Volcano, dies and sets up a reunion for Gi-yeong and the other members of the group. Former bass player Seong-wook lives a hand-to-mouth existence working two jobs. Drummer Hyeok-su is a single father struggling to make a living as a car salesman. The jobless lead guitarist Gi-yeong dreams of taking over Volcano as the new frontman. When he suggests they reform the band while the old friends reminisce at the funeral, they all spurn the idea. Korean comedy about two very silly guys . Two of Korea's leading comic actors Choi Sung Kook (Master Kims) and Gong Hyung Jin (Marrying the Mafia 3) pair up in Life is Beautiful, the Korean version of Dumb and Dumber. Directed by Choi Jin Won (Mr. Socrates), this lighthearted comedy is about two eccentric lowbrows who discover their own humorous ways of jumping over life's many huddles.

A surprisingly entertaining blend of humor and pathos, Life Is Beautiful gently holds up a mirror to reflect some of the illogical silliness that exist among so-called "normal" people who are often too quick to judge others as being "different".

Daehan and Mingook are best friends, but their intelligence is a bit lacking. Daehan is a romantic guy who dreams of marrying his childhood friend Jieun. As the two bumble through the storyline, the movie develops when Daehan heads to a nearby military base motivated by Jieun's casual comments that a man is not truly a man until his military duties are complete.

Ah-mi has been a freelance screenwriter for 2 years, but things don’t seem to work out for her. She lives with her bigger sister, Young-mi, because she can’t afford to live on her own.
