He Got It All Wrong - The Massacre of VT

By now, many of you would have heard of the horrifying tragedy at Virginia Tech. To think that someone who so brazenly disregarded lives of innocent coming from South Korea is hard to fanthom. What ticked me most was the association of his act with my favorite movie, *OLDBOY*. Sure, the bastard posted pictures of himself imitating Oh Dae Su, and he reportedly watched OLDBOY repeatedly before his act of evil. But OLDBOY does not glorify the act of revenge. Instead, to fully understand the movie, one has to find the underlying message the filmaker is trying to potray. OLDBOY does not justify revenge, infact, it condemned the merciless act of Oh Dae Su.To those who've watched OLDBOY, you know what good revenge did to Oh Dae Su. He is more tortured thenafter.

Here's two article of interest to those who wants to read more about what this bastard got so wrong about Oldboy.

Nothing can ever justify such a shamless act. May Peace be with all the innocent lives lost.

I agree. He totally got the wrong idea from the movie. He misunderstood the film's purpose and it's such a shame.

God bless those who have to suffer from this event.

Blame-game is the biggest mechanism man has invented to hide his deficiencies
and inadequacies; to shirk his responsibility for himself and his environment.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson says,
"Most of the shadows of life are caused
by standing in our own sunshine."

There's only one corner of the universe
you can be certain of improving,
and that's your own self.

i really hate when people link movies to killings. movies are not the cause for why people kill. if they were this whole world would be over-run with murders.
